Disappointed with the 4 star Strandhotel premium room. I travel frequently and would rate the room as 3 star at most. Free Wi-fi is advertised but on arrival there was absolutely none available in the room. Spoke with the reception and a solution was eventually found with the provision of an extra wi-fi receiver in the room. Most hotels I use have smart tvs in the rooms so that you can access streaming services such as Netflix etc.
The daily rate of approx €300 without food is not justified in my opinion.
I chose Halbpension and was very disappointed with the evening meal selection where the meat choices were generally poor quality with fat, gristle and also overcooked/dry.
The salad and dessert selection was however good.
The staff were very good.

The room is not entirely clean - there is mold in the shower, splatters on the walls of the shower, hair on the sink and on the furniture in the room, and the room has a musty smell to it. In the pool area I saw plenty of black mold growing on the white grates around the pool and hot-tub. The in the restaurant is mediocre at absolute best, but nothing to write home about. I would expect more from a 4-star hotel.
