Room was a lovely size, very sunny and warm and extremely clean. The bedlinen was beautiful,I had a very comfortable stay.
Friendly and helpful staffs add many points.
The location of the hotel was super convenient, a few minutes walk to the Interlakken Ost train stations, shops and restaurants. The lady at reception, Rosemary, was extremely friendly and helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. The rooms were very spacious and clean!
We were a family of 4 persons and stayed for 2D 1N. We were aware before our stay that Hotel Artos was a retirement home and had looked forward to a quiet and safe place. The hotel exceeded our expectations! It is a great concept to have a dual purpose hotel and retirement home. We wish we were staying for more days, for greater opportunity to interact with some of the retirees or to take part in any program that the hotel could organise for guests to interact with retirees (hope the hotel has such programs or would consider having them). Besides that, the hotel is very clean, well-equipped and located in a quietly serene area with beautiful scenery of the mountains (including Jungfrau, I think) and Harder Kulm hill-top.
