We initially had a pitch that was far too small and difficult to maneuver into but luckily when we explained we moved to a lake side one which was excellent. The main campsite was extremely busy and very crowded with insufficient room between vans. The facilities were excellent. The views were beautiful.
Had we not been able to move we would have left. Such a shame it's so overcrowded.
Although there was work being done on a new toilet block everything was accessible and the builders were conscious and polite to the fact that there were people around needing access to the toilet block.
We have stayed before in the past and will continue to.

Beautiful view. Information was clear. Toilet/shower little bit far away. Not the best WIFI.
We didn’t love it here, such a shame as we loved the location and the lake was stunning so highly recommend a walk around the site and lake specifically! But the campsite itself was very average, average small facilities for toilets/ showers and the pitches were gravel, small and squeezed together. Unfortunately, the staff at reception also weren’t very friendly or helpful. We hadn’t been here before and when my husband went back in to confirm where to drive, the staff member was dismissive which we hadn’t experienced at other campsites. There were people gardening in the morning maintaining the site so it has the potential to be great but we didn’t feel welcomed and were keen to leave first thing.
