The units were clean and spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. It was a quiet location, about 30 minutes by public transport to the center of town.

4 out of 5 staff members we encountered could not speak adequate german or English. They were unable to solve our issues. The sheets for the bed are too small so you are sleeping on plastic mattress protectors. There is nothing to fill the gap when you want a king bed vs two twins. they just use a small sheet to try and cover both mattresses which is inadequate as you have the gap in the middle. The room smelt so strongly of cheap air freshener. We had the balcony doors open all day and for two days and the smell still wouldn’t go away. We ended up leaving after two nights even though we couldn’t get a refund as the sleep was so poor with the mattress situation when we should have stayed for five nights. Upon leaving we asked for our parking ticket to be validated so we could leave the car park. The receptionist at the time said she gave us the validated ticket to leave. It did not work and we were stuck behind the barrier and no one would pick up from reception. We left the car in front of the barrier and ran into the hotel and no reception staff was available. They were in the back doing makeup and getting ready for what I assume was a Christmas party. When they finally came to attend to me I told them the issue and they said they gave the wrong ticket. My husband is native German speaker and I’m a native English speaker and communicating with the staff was just not possible. When they couldn’t understand the German they asked to switch to English but then they also couldn’t understand the English. Only the young man was able to communicate adequately.
