Bathrooms need doors for privacy. I know german culture is different but hotels generally have foreign guests who don't share same culture. I booked a shared twin room and we had to leave the room when the other person wanted to shower as there was no privacy
The hotel was very clean, , the breakfast was amazing and the staff were also great. conveniently located in the middle of everything, close to the train station, the markets in the Zeil area. Except for the very bad bed and pillows in the room everything was perfect.

Good hotel only ten minutes away on foot from the old town.
Overall very good and cozy room but the occational noise from the street (i.e. ambulance traffic to a nearby hospital) during night time disturbed me a bit. However, the breakfast was excellent.
