I stay at this hotel several times a year. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They always try to give me rooms they know I like, and they are always willing to go the extra mile. Hotel is clean and the rooms are all different.
If you arrive on a Sunday then I wouldn't recommend it. We were travelling for business and arrived late afternoon. Restaurant closed, as was most of the town. There was no assistance or recommendiation of how to get something to eat. I had a bag of M&Ms' and colleague something similar! Rooms are small but clean and efficient. There was no offer to help at all.
This is my second stay here! great location, great room and the food is delicious- especially the apple desert! maybe only one point to consider- the morning alarm at 7am from the church's bells for 5 min straight :)
I have been coming to Schwanen for many years and I am treated as family. The staff is wonderful, hotel rooms are clean and food is best in the area!
