We had a perfect stay at the hotel Gurglhof. The whole crew made sure we had everything. The check-in was very warm and friendly. A big thank to the hotel staff, especially to Martin, Anita and Andras. They made us feel like we were ‚home‘. We also thank the house keeping.The lady was very nice and kept our room very clean. A special thank also to Gina, she took care of switching our room. We travel a lot, but no stay will be remembered like this one. We will definitely come back next year!
Fantastic stay, great service and excellent food!
A very beautiful hotel in the perfect location for skiing. The rooms are very cosy with a spacious, modern bathroom. The hotel restaurant has a romantic atmosphere inviting to spend a nice evening. The food for breakfast and dinner was absolutely amazing and delicious. The staff was friendly and helpfull in every aspect of our needs.
The Hotel is beautiful, the staff very welcoming and friendly. Service throughout, from the reception to the bar to the restaurant was excellent. The spa area is lovely - with a really nice pool, sauna and relaxation area. The hotel is spotlessly clean throughout.
We had the half board option and the food was terrific - local flavours with some great dishes. Salad bar meant you could top up if needed. Breakfast was great - omelettes made to order plus a variety of pastries, fruits and breads. Our waiter (Norbert) was very friendly and thoughtful.
Faculties for skiing are very good too- with a heated boot room and ski storage area in the hotel. The slopes are a few steps away from the hotel. Skiing in Obergurgl and Hockgurgl was very good - with a mixture of easier and tougher slopes.
Overall a fantastic holiday and we will definitely be back. This is our third trip to hotel and we can’t recommend enough.
We have stayed at Gurglehof before in 2019 and loved the hotel so much we decided to come back again this year. We were very happy to see the same quality standard we experienced before is still there today.
