There are a lot of lovely hotels in Obergurgl and the Gurglhof is definitely one of the better ones.
The hotel feels newly renovated and perfectly clean.
The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The bar staff in particular recommended some great gins and really looked after us. The restaurant staff made good wine recommendations and it felt as though they really cared about us as guests, remembering our allergy request and making sure we were well fed.
The hotel facilities are great with a lovely spa (although the pool could be warmer) and heated boot racks in the boot room.
The location is almost perfect. While you can’t ski directly to the door, you are probably no more than 30 seconds walk from the slope at the end of the day and maybe 60 seconds to the lift in the morning.
Thoroughly recommend and will stay again.
The level of service from Daniel in the restaurant and Daniel in the bar was fantastic. The hotel reception were also very friendly and vice accommodating for the two small requests I asked during my stay.
Anita &Mark are the best on the restaurant
The staff was just great. A excellent staff in an wonderful hotel; you cannot have better.
We had a lovely stay. In particular the food was amazing and the chef and restaurant staff were amazing with my gluten free and dairy free dietary needs. This made the stay very relaxing for me as this is usually the most stressful thing about going on holiday for me. Also reception, bar and cleaning staff were very helpful and friendly. Would like to thank Anita in the restaurant who was very attentive and made our meals very enjoyable.
