The service offered at this hotel is outstanding. It is beautiful - the pictures do not show it’s true beauty and lovely area of location.
In general, the hotel is a good place to stay. The location is nice being well centered, close to public transportation and grocery, friendly service including housekeeping, and comfortable bedding. Having recently traveled all over Switzerland and Austria, I’d say the breakfast was subpar in quality. The hotel also charges for items in the room such as drinks/snacks while it’s common to find complimentary else where. Valet parking is mandatory however the cost is inline with self parking vs competitors. All in all, I’d rank it a fair place to stay.
Lovely family room, wonderful breaktfast. Location was amazing and convenient. Rooms cool and quiet, great for arrival after a long flight. Definitely recommend!
The hotel was very nice and check-in was easy. We only had two small issues. First, housekeeping (or maintenance?) seemed confused that we had been checked in to our room. When we came in there were tools (screwdrivers/hammers) on the chair and the room was unlocked. Almost like maintenance had been in there but not finished? Then over the afternoon housekeeping came three times to say they needed to clean the room even though we had checked in that day. I don’t know if they were sent to clean after maintenance had worked in the room but we were let in the room earlier than we should have been? It was not a big deal but it was a bit odd all afternoon. The other thing was that the room had poor soundproofing so noises from the street and hallway and rooms above us were very loud. We know that is common in some older classic hotels but it would have maybe helped to have a rug on floors to dampen sounds or a heavier door. We would definitely stay again but at least wanted to share our feedback!
Breakfast not up till standards of other hitels where we stayed in Switzerland.
