Excellent hotel and location. From the moment I arrived at the hotel, I found the staff to very friendly, accommodating and helpful at all times at Reception, Restaurant, Bar Housekeeping. Nothing was a problem. A very warm ambiance at the hotel. Hotel very assessable shops and departments stores in easy walking distance. Had a fabulous stay at the Hotel Glockenhof and hope to be back in Zurich.
Our experience, being 4, with 2 kids of 5 and 10 years old, was very good. The room had 2 adult beds and two additional fold beds, which were enough for the kids, and even with that, the room was still big and there was space for everything, which is really nice when you travel with little ones that can't stop playing. All in the room was of quality and in good state.
The staff was very nice with us, being very kind with the kids: it's always nice to stay in hotels that understand that kids are kids.
The location of the hotel I think is very good: in the center, nearby the station,... but at the end this is something subjective and I let each one to decide over his necessities and the map.
We had breakfast included (it was coming by default in the reservation, normally we don't take it), and although the buffet was not the best in history, it was pretty good.
If we come back to Zurich most probably we will repeat.
