The hotel was very nice and check-in was easy. We only had two small issues. First, housekeeping (or maintenance?) seemed confused that we had been checked in to our room. When we came in there were tools (screwdrivers/hammers) on the chair and the room was unlocked. Almost like maintenance had been in there but not finished? Then over the afternoon housekeeping came three times to say they needed to clean the room even though we had checked in that day. I don’t know if they were sent to clean after maintenance had worked in the room but we were let in the room earlier than we should have been? It was not a big deal but it was a bit odd all afternoon. The other thing was that the room had poor soundproofing so noises from the street and hallway and rooms above us were very loud. We know that is common in some older classic hotels but it would have maybe helped to have a rug on floors to dampen sounds or a heavier door. We would definitely stay again but at least wanted to share our feedback!
Breakfast not up till standards of other hitels where we stayed in Switzerland.
Lovely hotel. Enjoyed a delicious lunch in the outside garden area. We were told our room had been upgraded but was disappointed by the size and quality of the furnishings and bathroom set up. The shower glass was adjacent to the rest of the room with just white stripes across the middle of the glass to hide and make private your bits and pieces while showering. It was odd and did not make for comfortable showering! Staff was very friendly.
We were in room 105. Although spacious, it was far from cozy. The room I selected was branded "cozy chic". This room was far from cozy. It was also uncomfortable to step outside room to find we were next door to hoteel offices. Given the price point, I expected more. Also, the Nespresso machine didn't work, a bed remote dedn't work, and the tissue container above toilet came out f wall as I removed a tissue. Just sloppy.
Great location, good facilities and helpful staff
