Overall, the hotel was nice and in a good location. A highlight was the outstanding service by Peter in the bar area and the friendly front desk staff were great. In spite of these positives I can't give the Glockenhof Zurich more than a 3 start rating for the following reasons: - the bed was much smaller than we expected. We would not have booked in this hotel had we known how small the bed would be. Plus, the bed sagged in the middle making it hard to sleep on - the breakfast room was too small and crowded - with so many people in it we found it hard to enjoy our meal. It would be good to encourage guests to use the outside area in good weather. - the selection of items for breakfast was too limited (as compared to what we experienced in other 4-star hotels during this trip). - The room was smaller than expected. Given the above, we felt that the price we had to pay for our room was higher than it should have been for what we received.
