We felt the hotel was a good place for one quick night before we flew home because it was pretty close to the airport but we really didn’t like the glass wall that completely exposed the bathroom. With jet lag and insomnia issues or a need for privacy the glass fishbowl bathroom is a horrible idea. We couldn’t leave a bathroom night light on and I couldn’t do anything privately in the bathroom as the light would wake my husband up. Who thought this one up? Put a curtain up that you can open or close so people don’t walk into the glass in the night or for the daytime for that matter.
The staff at this hotel were wonderful however from start to finish!
I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel, the room was comfortable, spacious and clean. Its location is quite central and within walking distance from the station and restaurants. The cleaning and hotel restaurant staff must be commended for their friendliness and service. My only disappointment would be that there were no maps/ information of the city or recommendations for places to visit at the hotel and the lady at the reception was not very helpful when asking for assistance. She instead advised that we go to the station (we had figure out how to get there ourselves) for assistance. A humble request to assist visitors new to, or not familiar with Zurich.
Queen size bed is an outdated concept of comfort.
CHF 19.50 room service for two bottles of water is close to extortion.
Lack of bakery choices at the breakfast buffet at 9:00 is beyond my understanding.
Very good location and I like the bathroom and room size was good.. but the breakfast was limited
