It was overall a good experience. Rooms are wide, though the bathroom is a bit small. We would have prefered having breakfast at the hotel but providing free tea and some pastry is kind of you.
The hotel is near transport stations, but we felt it was for us too far from Munich center.
Very helpful with booking my room (telephone) and follow up emails. I was given clear instructions for key retrieval, room was very clean and quietly situated with everything I needed (private bathroom, table, TV, internet) and at reasonable price.
I would not recommend the Hotel for a business stay.
1.) The late check in was not working very well. My collegues couldn’t nearly find the box in the dark where you can enter the codes to get the room keys. So it would be recommended that the Hotel sends also a map along sending the codes where to find this box.
2.) I received an info regarding SMS that my collegue Ruth Sullivan couldn’t be reached for the codes, so I had to forward it to her.
3.) The walk to Rathochstrasse 71 at night was quite long----about 20 min… I was told it is around 10 min only.
4.) My room smelled of smoke- for a non smoker this can be quite disgusting.
Our stay in this hotel was almost perfect. A clean and beautuful room in a very good position both if you want to visit the city and the oktoberfest.
Sauberes, nettes Zimmer. Gute Kommunikation bei später Ankunft.
