My wife and I and sometimes our daughters also, have been staying here for many years. We have always found Herr and Frau Buck to be very welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. Each time I come I ask Herr Buck to make me one of my favourite dishes, Zigeunerschnitzel. This is not on the menu but he always makes it for me. You don't get that kind of service in many hotels. The restaurant staff are always very friendly and welcoming. When you see the same staff there year after year, you know it's a good hotel. When we come to the hotel it feels like our second home. And the location is fantastic. We have a room overlooking the harbour and across to Switzerland. It's really wonderful.

We were exceptionally pleased with the large room (43) ... it greatly exceeded our expectations. The view of the lake was fantastic. The restaurant at the hotel was also very good.
